Proxy Setting for different browsers

Choose your browser:
- select Options
- select Network Preferences
- select the
Proxies tab
- enter in the Configuration Location (URL):
http://proxy.tjgy.com/proxy.pac
- click Reload and OK
- select Edit

select Preferences
- click on the '+' to the left of the Advanced option
-
click on Proxies
-
click on the Automatic proxy configuration button
- enter in the Configuration Location
(URL): http://proxy.tjgy.com/proxy.pac

click Reload and OK
The current release of Netscape 6.0 does not
allow for a proxy.pac configurration. This is being worked on, but there
is no definite release time. Check out the progress on this at:

Notes
for MS Internet Explorer Version 5, 5.01, and 5.5 Users |
There have been reported problems with the earlier versions of MS Internet
Explorer 5, 5.01, and 5.5. The current version of 5.5 has fixed this
problem, but if an earlier version is used, then there may be problems setting
up a proxy.pac file. This is a know issue for Microsoft, and there is a
patch available.

The AOL browser does not support access to off-campus databases.
Please follow the steps below to install the Netscape browser.
After you have installed the Netscape browser, minimize the AOL browser and access the databases from your Netscape browser.
- To install Netscape Navigator for AOL:
- Keyword: netscape
- click on
Click Here!
- click on Download Netscape
- Follow the prompts to load and install Netscape Navigator
- Follow the steps listed above for setting up Netscape Version 4
